POCUS is a key component of the UBC Internal Medicine two-week bootcamp for incoming first year residents. You’ll learn the basics of knobology and machine operation, an introduction to IJ and lung scanning, and how to incorporate POCUS into common procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and central line insertion.
